Become a GAICAM Country or Community Delegate

Represent us in your Country or Community. We are always seeking individuals who are passionate about our vision in Africa and wish to represent us in their community or country of residence. If you are interested in representing us in your community or country of residence, read the eligibility criteria below and the requirements, then submit the statement of interest to the evaluation team.

This special opportunity is designed to give young people the opportunity to develop new skills, contribute to our range of activities to give back to their communities, and present us at different levels.

In line with our dedicated programs and activities, these country and community delegates will serve as GAICAM chief volunteers in their divisions, regions, or countries of residence, helping many young people from their communities, especially those from less privileged homes, to benefit from a range of GAICAM activities and projects.

As a Community Delegate, you will be trained on how to professionally represent GAICAM in your community, as well as exposed to opportunities that would benefit you and others in your community. This position will enable you to contribute to the development of your community, build your career portfolio and professional skills, and be part of a dynamic and professional network of changemakers.

The position will equally expose you to opportunities that might permit you to attend international programs as a GAICAM Community Delegate, represent GAICAM in your community, region, and at the international level. It will equally give you the rare privilege of attending all GAICAM-paid events for free, while positioning yourself for the global stage.
